| What is a permanent endowment fund? A permanent endowment fund is created through an irrevocable gift to the Foundation. The Presbyterian Foundation professionally holds and manages the fund and pays income from the fund to a Presbyterian or Presbyterian-related entity you have selected in perpetuity. A permanent endowment fund creates a lasting legacy of faith and generosity. A fund is often established to celebrate an event, such as a birthday or anniversary, to honor a loved one, or to create a lasting legacy. The fund can commemorate your church, a related organization or a ministry of significance to you. What does it take to establish a fund? A permanent endowment fund can be established with a gift to the Foundation of $25,000 or more by an individual or an organization. Can I make additional gifts to a fund? Additions to the fund are accepted from you or anyone wishing to contribute to the growth of the fund. Simply complete the additional gift form and submit it with your gift to the Presbyterian Foundation. Who can I contact for more information? To establish a permanent endowment fund, start by completing an agreement. Contact your Development Officer or contact the Foundation for more information.
